Dear Parents,

Welcome to Lakes Creek State School!

Parents are most welcome to come to school at any time to assist or just observe.  I know that you will understand that when a teacher is teaching, they may not be able to stop what they are doing to discuss something with you.

Your contribution to this school will be valued.  Parents are a child's first and most influential teachers.

We have high expectations for each and every child and it is important that you support us in this.  Ensure that your child knows that they must do their best work at all times, as education is the pathway to future success.

ABSENTEEISM REMINDER

A reminder regarding the number of days our students are absent. If your child is ill we do not want them at school, however if they are well enough to be at school it is vital they are here. Every day is an important day at school. The learning that occurs each and every day is very difficult to make up. Please also remember to send a note to the teacher if your child is absent.

UNAUTHORISED PICKUP OF CHILDREN

Parents are reminded that only a student's parent or emergency contacts are to pick up students at the end of the day. Students who cannot find their parents at 3.00pm know to come to the office so that their parent can be contacted.

CHANGE OF DETAILS

If you have changed any of your contact details, ie., address, telephone or emergency contact please contact the school office on 4926 4018 to update your child's information.
