Lakes Creek’s library hosts a range of resources including junior fiction, fiction, non-fiction and reference books. The centre also incorporates a computer lab available for student use during class time for lessons and internet access.

Students are able to borrow books for home. Students in Preschool, year 1 and year 2 may borrow one library book at a time, years 3,4,5,6 and 7 two books each. Classroom teachers borrow resources as part of their classroom reading program.

The usual borrowing period is two weeks, however children may borrow more often if they so desire. It can be very expensive to replace resources so in order to protect them, children are required to use a library bag when borrowing.

Students have free access to library resources, computer systems and software.
